At MWC 2025, Infinix showcased two groundbreaking innovations: SolarEnergy-Reserving Technology for enhanced battery life and E-Color Shift 2.0, an AI-powered smartphone customization feature. These advancements align with Infinix’s vision of integrating AI, sustainability, and personalization into mobile technology.
SolarEnergy-Reserving Technology: Sustainable Mobile Charging
Infinix introduced SolarEnergy-Reserving Technology, leveraging perovskite photovoltaic cells and AI algorithms to optimize energy capture from ambient light. The system efficiently converts indoor and outdoor light into electricity, storing it within a prototype smartphone and a specialized charging case. AI fine-tunes energy collection in real-time, enabling a storage capacity of up to 2W, with potential improvements in future iterations.
A key component of this technology is Sunflower Wireless Charging, inspired by heliotropic plants. This AI-driven system dynamically adjusts light positioning and transmission paths based on environmental conditions, ensuring efficient power reception within a 3-meter range. Future versions aim to enhance accuracy and distance.
Key Benefits:
- Extended Standby Power: Efficient energy collection allows usage even in dim lighting conditions.
- AI Energy Management: Integrates MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) to regulate voltage and prevent overheating.
- Emergency Power Access: Provides backup charging during outages, ensuring continued connectivity.
- Broader Applications: Beyond smartphones, Infinix envisions this technology expanding to wearables and digital devices.
E-Color Shift 2.0: AI-Driven Personalization
Infinix also introduced E-Color Shift 2.0, allowing smartphones to dynamically change their appearance through AI-enhanced color transitions. Users can customize their phone’s aesthetics with:
- Customize Mode: Choose from six patterns and six color palettes, creating 30 unique designs.
- AI-Recognize Mode: The phone adapts colors based on weather, wallpapers, and surroundings.
Future Innovations: The NOTE 50 Series
These advancements pave the way for Infinix’s NOTE 50 series, launching in March 2025, featuring enhanced AI, improved charging, and a premium metal design.
